Welcome to Nappy Bliss
The green and caring choice for your baby
Hi! I’m Rose. I’m a mother and a nurse, as well as being the founder of Nappy Bliss.
I used real nappies on my son when he was a baby because I was becoming increasingly concerned about what I was reading about the length of time it takes for disposable nappies to decompose, not to mention the impact of the raw sewage that would be entering the environment if I used them.
I was also working full time and knew realistically that washing nappies after a day’s work was more than I could cope with, so I found a nappy laundering service and put them to the test. I found this approach both easy and convenient, and I knew that I was doing my bit to protect my son’s future environment too.
Several years later, following a chance conversation with a new Mum wanting to use real nappies, I realised that there wasn’t a nappy laundry service in the New Forest area and Nappy Bliss was born. We are a family run business, passionate about helping like-minded parents and nurseries to enjoy caring for their baby while protecting our natural environment.
A staggering eight million disposable nappies are thrown away every day in the UK, with the vast majority ending up in landfill. Your child could contribute over 4000 to this huge pile.
Here at Nappy Bliss we offer two easy, green and affordable alternatives.
We have a retail shop where we have a select number of nappies and accessories for you to chose from.
Alternatively our real nappy delivery and nappy laundry service not only takes the work out of reusable nappies but is also surprisingly affordable. We will collect soiled nappies and launder them to NHS standards, delivering back clean nappies direct to your door once a week.
We know the difference real nappies make – both to the environment and to the mums we support. Our service allows babies and parents to enjoy all the health, financial and environmental benefits of cotton nappies, with the convenience of a doorstep service.
